Use Proxy Chaining to hide your trace/hide your IP address/Anonymous browsing(use multiple proxies to connect to a server)

Proxy chaining is a method of connecting to multiple proxy servers before connecting to your intended server. This method can be very effective in hiding your IP address(for anonymity) or we can say it will be very difficult to trace the IP address when we use multiple proxies. We can use as many proxy we want but it will certainly decrease our internet speed too.

client(browser)--->proxy1--->proxy2-->proxy3--->proxy3--->proxy(n)

In this post i will be sharing 2 methods to accomplish proxy chaining.

Method1- Using websites

In this method we will use different websites that provides anonymous surfing services( free proxy services) like:-

hidemyass.com

http://vectroproxy.com/

http://zend2.com/

http://proxify.com/

Likewise find other websites which provides similar services, to search for such websites just type: related:hidemyass.com or related:zend2.com in Google search box.
Now go to any such website and type the URL of another proxy service website and inside that type another proxy website and finally type your required website. This way you can create proxy chain of any length.
your browser-->hidemyass.com-->zend2.com-->proxify.com-->vectroproxy.com-->your website name

Install and run this tool. 
Features:
1. you can connect to 30 different proxies in a single chain.

2. You can add any number of proxy list. The program will automatically rank as per your settings.

3. Check the status to see, which proxy server is used at that moment.

Proxy Server Agent: to download.
Install and open proxy server agent and click on proxy, inside that click on "add" button and add the proxies. For list of proxies, go to  freeproxylists.net.

Now click on "chains" and select the proxy chain type and create a new chain(click on add)  and inside that chain add proxy from the list.

Note: The type of proxy in the chain and the last proxy in the chain must be of same type.

Use Proxy Server to hide your IP address/ Anonymous browsing using proxy server

This is the first thing probably you should know, hiding your IP Address or making yourself anonymous is not a difficult task. In this post I will teach how to hide your IP using Proxy Server. Believe me, still you won't be anonymous, don't think no one can find you, the only thing you should know is you are only making them harder to find you.

Before we start lets get familiar with the term Proxy Server.

From the Latin word "proximus" which means "close". A proxy is actually a server which helps you have anonymity on the Internet. It is like a wall between you and the net. When you use a proxy, the webpage on the other side won't be able to see you, but just the wall (proxy), thus making you anonymous. 

What exactly proxy will do is- it will send and receive request on your behalf, so the server you want to connect to will know the proxies IP address rather than yours.

To connect to a proxy you need to have the IP address of the Proxy and the port number you want to connect to.

So the Question is How to Do it?

1. Using a web proxy like hidemyass.com.

2. Let the tool find the proxy server and connect to it automatically.

3. Find the online proxies around the world and connect to them. 

Method-1:-
I don't there is any explanation needed for this method, just go to hidemyass.com and just type the name of the server(URL) you  want to connect to.
You can use the options available below the text box. Use SSL if you want secure connection(encrypted), And its not mandatory that use random proxy server you  can choose the proxy from the list of countries available.

Method-2:-

Setup the connection to proxy using Tool. Click Here to download the tool.

this tool has the capability to find the anonymous proxies and it will automatically connect to that proxy.

To confirm go to whatismyip.com and check your IP before and after you start the application.

Method-3:-
In this method we will connect   manually to the proxy. First of all find the proxy server which is highly anonymous, the list of IP and port of proxy can be found in aliveproxy.com/proxy-list/proxies.aspx/Armenia-am or freeproxylists.net/ .

-> Note down the name of the proxy and port number, sometimes the IP and port may be given in the form of 80.86.233.139:3128(after ":" is the port number).

-> Now we will have to edit the proxy settings in the Browser, in this post I will be explaining you with Mozilla Firefox If you have any doubt on how to edit the settings on other browsers contact me or leave the comment.

-> Go to Tools->Advanced Tab->click on "settings" button.

-> Inside the "connection settings" window choose "Manual proxy settings" And write down the IP address and port number(try to find highly anonymous proxy) you have noted 

Check on "Use this Proxy server for all protocols".

Now click "Ok"

To check whether your IP has changed go to whatismyip.com.

Onion Routing(Hide you trace/hide your IP address/Be anonymous using Onion routing))

A technique, originally developed by the U.S. Navy, to hide the true origin of packets in the internet.

In onion routing, packets are sent through a network of randomly selected proxy servers before being delivered to their final destination.

So the question is Why Onion routing is better option than using Proxy Servers, the answer is- the owner of proxy server can reveal your identity.

So Whats the theory behind the Onion Routing?

Tor is the  application built for onion routing, its an application which makes a socket connection to an Onion Routing Proxy, instead of making a (socket) connection directly to a destination machine,. That Onion Routing Proxy builds an anonymous connection through several other Onion Routers to the destination. And after each change in router the encryption level changes and because of that its not easy to track the data.

How to Use the TOR?

1. First click here to download the TOR application.

2. Install it, while installing check on all four options i.e Vidalia, Tor, Polipo and Torbutton.

Torbutton is actually add-on to mozilla firefox so, we are using mozilla for using tor application.

3. After installing Tor open the vidalia control panel( it can be found in task bar with onion symbol) in that hit "Start Tor"

4. Now open the firefox go to "Tools" menu inside that click on "Add-ons" you should see Torbutton add-on, install it.

5. Restart the firefox, now in the bottom right corner of the browser you should see the red "Tor disabled" click on that, it will turn green saying "Tor Enabled".

6. We are done, go to whatismyip.com and check your IP address, you will see changes in every 2 to 3 minutes.

Note:- Its always better to use Tor with proxy, so first find the highly anonymous proxy(click the link to find http://www.freeproxylists.net/) and Note the IP and port and then open firefox->Tools(menu)->Add-ons in that click on "options" button in Torbutton addon, Edit the IP and port, to know further about proxy click here.

The only disadvantage of this method is that it will slow down your net speed. Since it goes through different connections it takes time to reach the response to your actual IP address
